Nearvy

Community Guidelines

The conduct expected from everyone who creates, joins, and chats about plans on Nearvy.

Be respectful

Treat people with dignity. Harassment, hate speech, threats, bullying, unwanted sexual conduct, and pressure for romantic or sexual interaction are not welcome. Nearvy is for friendly nearby activities, not dating.

Create honest, safe plans

Describe the real activity, time, and meeting place. Do not create deceptive events, impersonate another person, promote dangerous or illegal activity, or use a meetup to sell, recruit, spam, or scam.

A join request is not acceptance. A chat is not consent to personal contact outside Nearvy. Respect a host’s decision, another person’s boundaries, and anyone’s decision to leave.

Protect privacy

Do not publish another person’s private information, exact live location, messages, images, or voice recordings without permission. Never request passwords, verification codes, or financial information.

Report concerns

Use the in-app controls to report users or events and to block users. Give accurate context and do not submit retaliatory or knowingly false reports. For additional help, contact Nearvy Support.

Use Nearvy only if you meet the eligibility and minimum-age requirements in the Terms of Use.
